Collection and processing of personal data

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest. When you visit our website, information of a general nature is recorded automatically (server log files). This information includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address, and similar data. This data is collected solely to ensure the trouble-free operation of the website.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to analyse how the website is used. It uses cookies that collect information about your use (including your IP address) and transmit it to Google. Google uses this data for evaluation, reporting, and further processing where legally required. Your IP address is not combined with other data. You can decline cookies in your browser settings, but note that not all features may then be available.

Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies, for example for your theme choice and to store your cookie decision. Analytics cookies are set only via Google Analytics and only after your consent. The self-hosted Umami works without cookies, but is likewise loaded only after your consent.

Umami (self-hosted) and session recording

We run Umami on our own infrastructure at analytics.neuklick.com. Umami counts page views without cookies. We additionally use Umami's session recording, which records interactions with the page such as mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, in order to identify usability problems. Both are loaded only after your explicit consent via the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, no script is loaded. The data stays on our own infrastructure in the EU and is not passed to third parties. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Enquiry form

On the homepage, the services page and each individual service page you can send us an enquiry through a form. We process the data you enter: name, email address, optionally your phone number and your website address, the services you selected and your free-text description. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The information is used solely to handle your enquiry and is not used for advertising unless you separately agree to that. It reaches us by email via Resend (Resend Inc., USA) as a processor, processed in their EU region (Ireland, eu-west-1). Where data is transferred to the USA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. It is not stored in a database. Your enquiry remains in our mailbox until its purpose is fulfilled, at most for the duration of statutory retention periods. You may withdraw your consent at any time without formality.

Cal.com as a processor

Our contact page lets you book appointments via Cal.com. When the booking tool loads, data is transmitted to Cal.com Inc. You can find Cal.com's privacy policy at cal.com/privacy.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel processes access data on our behalf as a processor. Where data is transferred to the USA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Our Umami runs separately on our own infrastructure in the EU.
